Seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support financial operations in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on financial reporting, cost accounting, and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead month-end close and prepare financial statements (GAAP)
Manage cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audits
Partner with operations to improve cost efficiency
Drive
ERP
and process improvement initiatives
Supervise and develop accounting team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CMA preferred
8+ years accounting experience; Big 4 background preferred
Manufacturing experience is a plus
2+ years leadership experience
Strong GAAP, cost accounting, and ERP knowledge
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
