
Financial Tax Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with a strong focus on tax and partnership accounting to join a growing finance team. This role will support day-to-day tax operations, partner-related accounting, and financial reporting activities in a professional services environment.
The position is highly detail-oriented and involves working closely with internal finance leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and timely execution of key processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Prepare and maintain partner-related schedules, including distributions and capital accounts
Support the preparation of partnership tax documentation, including K-1-related data
Assist with federal and state tax reporting and filings, including sales/use and property tax
Reconcile general ledger accounts and support month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare recurring financial schedules and reporting packages for internal use and audit support
Track and maintain financial data across multiple systems and ensure accuracy of records
Partner with internal teams to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and support ongoing projects
Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in accounting, tax, or financial analysis
Experience working with partnership structures and related accounting concepts
Exposure to tax reporting and compliance processes
Strong Excel skills (ability to work with large datasets, build schedules, and perform analysis)
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Nice to Have
Experience in a professional services or partnership-based environment
Exposure to K-1 preparation or partner distribution accounting
Familiarity with accounting or tax systems (e.g., ERP platforms or tax software)
