Overview
Our client, a leading global investment firm, is seeking an Associate to join its U.S. Private Credit team. This small, high‑performing group invests up and down the capital stack, with a strong focus on more complex and higher‑risk private credit opportunities.
The Associate will operate in a lean environment with significant exposure, providing critical support to senior investors throughout the underwriting and execution process.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite private credit investment opportunities across a range of industries.
Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, market and competitive research, and credit analysis.
Support investment structuring, negotiation processes, and legal documentation.
Manage deal workflows and collaborate with internal stakeholders across credit, public markets, and asset management.
Prepare investment memos and contribute to full-cycle deal execution.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1‑4 years of experience
Experience at:
Direct lending, opportunistic credit, and special situations investment firms
LevFin Investment Banking groups
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience evaluating or supporting credit or structured investment opportunities
Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and professional maturity
Compensation
$200,000–$225,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus
