Role within the Third-Party Wealth ("TPW") Alternatives Business seeks a driven, detail-oriented professional to drive the expansion of Broker-Dealer and RIA distribution. The successful candidate will strengthen wealth and distribution partnerships, contribute to the development and implementation of alternative investment solutions for this client group, and help shape the future of our offerings.
Based in New York, NY, the selected candidate will cultivate and manage strategic partnerships, collaborate with senior relationship managers, investment teams, and marketing professionals to launch new products, and maintain relationships over time. The role offers exposure to senior leadership and involves steering operational and growth-focused priorities. It covers cross-functional coordination with Operations, Engineering, Executive Office, Legal, Compliance, and HCM, and is defined by the ability to drive new business, deepen client relationships, and lead initiatives that sustain commercial momentum for the TPW Alternatives business.
Principal Responsibilities

Effectively profile advisors to understand their practice, clients, and investment process, so we can better serve their needs and strategically position Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
Conduct proactive telephone and virtual sales presentations to top-tier clients and prospects, highlighting alternative products and the value proposition to raise capital across our investment strategies.
Partner with External Specialists and Regional Directors (external wholesalers) to manage an assigned territory within the U.S., driving sales and assets through execution of a defined territory strategy and sales process.
Build strong relationships with advisors primarily through telephone interactions, virtual engagements, and territory travel.
Execute consistent follow-up with advisors to advance the sales process and deepen relationships.
Demonstrate organized, efficient, and effective territory management and sales skills on a consistent basis.
Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments in alternatives.
Basic Qualifications

At least 1-3 years of experience in financial services sales, ideally within alternatives or asset management.
Bachelor’s degree.
Series 7 and Series 63 licensed.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently with others.
Commercially oriented with strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce.
Salary Range

Analyst: $90,000 – $125,000 base. Associate: $100,000 – $170,000 base. Additional discretionary bonus may be available.
