Aviation Service Partners (ASP) is seeking a Sheet Metal / Structures Mechanic to join our growing aviation maintenance team. ASP specializes in sourcing and providing world‑class Maintenance, Engineering, and Project Management teams to deliver end‑to‑end MRO services that are cost‑effective, high‑quality, and dependable.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform aircraft sheet metal and structural repairs, including removal, fabrication, modification, and installation of aircraft components
Read and interpret FAA‑approved technical data, SRMs, AMMs, engineering orders, and work packages
Perform repairs on fuselage, skins, frames, stringers, ribs, and structural assemblies
Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment
Support or perform composite repairs and hot bonding (experience preferred)
Assist with inspections, corrosion repair, and structural troubleshooting
Document work performed in accordance with FAA, customer, and company requirements
Work safely and professionally in compliance with OSHA, EPA, FAA, and company standards
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
A&P License (preferred)
Sheet metal/structures experience in aviation, manufacturing, military, or regulated mechanical environments preferred
Composite and hot‑bond experience preferred
Willingness to teach and train other A&P and ASMs for sheet metal
Ability to use power and pneumatic tools safely and effectively
Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical instructions and drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements
Ability to wear a respirator as required per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134
Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
High school diploma or equivalent required
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Must pass pre‑employment drug screening and background check
Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned
