
Head of Tennis Pro

Camp Micah is a coed overnight camp located in Bridgton, Maine for kids ages 8-15. We are looking for a Head of Tennis Pro for this upcoming summer. This is a great job for a young adult who enjoys working with kids and wants to have a life changing experience.
Activity Responsibilities
Direct Supervisor: Athletic Director
Supervise and evaluate tennis instructors
Develop activity lesson plans for group and private lessons
Lead group tennis lessons for campers of ages 7-15 years old
Teach private tennis lessons to individual campers
Assist in scheduling assignments for tennis instructors
Responsible for the proper care and storage of tennis equipment
General Responsibilities
Identify and meet campers’ needs
Be a role model to campers and other staff (i.e. living the Micah philosophy, cleanliness, punctuality, sharing clean-up and chores, sportsmanship, and table manners)
SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY
Guide campers in participating successfully in all aspects of camp activities
Participate in the camp community
Abide by all policies set forth in the Camp Micah staff handbook
Supervise and/or help organize bunk, unit, and all camp activities and special events (some activity leaders will be assigned to different bunks or units other than their own when needed)
Submit all required reports and paperwork on time
Be responsible for any other duties as may be required by the camp administration
Experience coaching and supervising tennis staff and athletes.
