Job Description
As a Mechanic Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced mechanics to learn vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone starting their career in automotive repair.
Responsibilities
Assist senior mechanics with inspections, repairs, and maintenance
Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake work
Learn to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment safely
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and shop standards
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
Strong interest in automotive repair and mechanics
Basic mechanical knowledge or coursework preferred
Willingness to learn and take direction
Good work ethic and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
