Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

Overview
This full-time, day-shift Diagnostic Radiology Technologist role is based at our walk-in clinic in Paoli, IN. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 9am-4:30pm, with no nights or weekends required. In this position, the Technologist will perform X-rays ordered by our APPs, engage directly with patients, and complete all charting and reporting within our clinical software systems.

Responsibilities

Operate imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery.

Prepare patients by explaining exams and positioning them correctly.

Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging.

Follow radiation safety protocols.

Document detailed patient history and necessary information in EMR.

Stay current with continuing education.

Monitor patients during exam for safety.

Assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed.

Other duties as assigned within scope of practice.

Qualifications

0-3 years of relevant experience.

Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient condition does not permit routine positioning.

Active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.

Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
