Salary: $2,152.75 - $2,352.75 /wk Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to evaluate and treat patients. Minimum Requirements: RDMS (ARDMS) or ARRT (Sonography) certification required. Minimum 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience required; 2 years preferred. Current BLS certification required. Comfortable working with pediatric through geriatric patient populations; experience with pediatric patients required. Ability to work independently and perform up to 10 exams per shift across ER and inpatient settings. Experience with GE ultrasound equipment preferred. Must be able to perform a variety of ultrasound modalities and maintain clinical competency, including high level probe disinfection per Joint Commission standards. Preferred: ACLS and certification in ultrasonic technology by ARDMS. Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (no local candidates). Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Nights. Schedule: 40 hours per week; 8-hour night shifts, approximate schedule 11:00 PM-7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. No call. Patient Population: Pediatrics through geriatrics. Covers Emergency Department and inpatient units. Volume: Up to 10 exams per shift. Equipment: GE ultrasound systems. Interview Process: Initial ITO interview; hiring manager conducts second interview.
