
Learning Technology Support & Content Specialist

APi Group is seeking a Learning Technology Support & Content Specialist to support the daily operations of our learning management system (LMS) while contributing to the development and maintenance of digital learning content. This early-career role combines learner support, LMS administration, and instructional design support to help deliver effective learning programs across the organization.
In this role, you will serve as a first point of contact for LMS-related inquiries, support learner access and system functionality, and help maintain accurate learning data. You will also assist with building and updating online courses, coordinating course testing and launches, and maintaining learning resources. What You Will Do
Provide Level 1 support for the learning management system (LMS), serving as the first point of contact for user inquiries, issue resolution, and ticket escalation
Manage learner access, profile updates, and transfers within the LMS, including troubleshooting enrollment, completion, and reporting issues
Monitor and resolve course completion, status, and data discrepancies to maintain accurate learning records
Support data integrity and access across learning systems and connected data sources
Participate in learner and stakeholder support sessions, including office hours and scheduled help forums
Assist in building and maintaining learning paths, vendor-created courses, curricula, and non-certification learning programs within the LMS
Identify opportunities to improve LMS processes, workflows, and the overall learner experience, and recommend enhancements
Support online learning team operations through tracking, reporting, documentation, and administrative coordination
Content Development & Instructional Design Support
Assist with course development and instructional design activities under the direction of senior team members
Build and update digital learning content using approved authoring tools and LMS functionality
Coordinate and document testing and quality assurance activities for new and updated courses
Support translation and localization workflows for learning content, including intake, tracking, and internal review coordination
Develop and update learner-facing resources such as help guides, job aids, and short instructional videos
Maintain organized file structures, documentation, and storage practices for learning content and source materials
Edit multimedia content and refresh legacy learning assets to ensure consistency with branding and organizational standards
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of experience in LMS administration, learning operations, instructional design support, or a related role
Experience working with learning management systems or similar learning technology platforms
Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise or Storyline 360
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field
Familiarity with multimedia editing tools used in online learning development
Experience supporting translation or localization workflows for learning content
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills when working with subject matter experts and learning professionals
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in learning materials and system data
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and processes
Benefits and Compensation
This role is based in our New Brighton, MN office. The salary range for this position is $56,500–$84,800 , depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus target of 5%, based on company performance.
