As the industry leader in water technology, Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Business Development Manager to join its industry‑leading sales team. The role focuses on gaining new accounts in the Semiconductor / Microelectronics industry through outstanding presentation skills and strategic sales planning to help customers save water, energy and waste.

What You Will Do

Drive new customer acquisition

Manage significant deal volume and target account pipelines

Develop and execute strategic sales plans, targeting prioritized opportunities

Respond to inbound lead generation, leveraging sales experience and skills to close new accounts

Leverage knowledge of the Institutional industry to establish credibility with current and prospective customers

Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management’s strategic decision‑making and reflect effective management of territory and pipeline

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to win new business

Transition customers to the account management team for post‑sales support

Position Details

Preferred location: Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Austin, TX or West Lafayette, IN

Territory: Austin, TX and West Lafayette, IN

50% overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications

Five years of technical sales or field sales support experience

Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record

Bachelor’s degree (any major)

Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)

Experience working in or with customers in the Semiconductor / Microelectronics industry

Process treatment experience in ethylene, butadiene, styrene, and downstream chemical operations

Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience

Bilingual in English and Korean

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The total compensation range for this position is $128,600–$193,000, including base pay and target incentive based on performance. Compensation is determined by experience, education, training, and geography, in compliance with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
