Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic - Fort Miller Precast
Fort Miller Precast seeks a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot and repair on and off road vehicles, both gas and diesel powered. Our mechanics work on a variety of equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, dump trucks, concrete mixer trucks, yard trailer jockeys, truck cranes, and bucket loaders.

Your role as a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair on and off road vehicles and equipment and other related construction equipment.
Assist with inventory control in the garage.
What we’re looking for:
AOS or AAS in Diesel Mechanics or equivalent experience.
Outstanding mechanical aptitude, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair vehicles and equipment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and occasionally on weekends.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to withstand exposure to extreme temperatures, visual acuity at short and long distances and good peripheral vision, ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and access equipment at various levels, push, pull, stand and bend for extended periods of time.
Experience driving a commercial vehicle (CDL) and/or equipment operation strongly desired.
Computer proficiency.
