We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect (M&A) to lead the technical integration and transformation of newly acquired companies into our cloud ecosystem. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and execution—partnering with cross-functional teams to shape the future of our cloud platforms. It’s a leadership opportunity to influence enterprise-wide cloud adoption, modernize legacy systems, and build scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design scalable, secure, and repeatable cloud architectures aligned with business goals and M&A strategies.
- Conduct technical assessments to identify gaps, define target states, and develop cloud transformation roadmaps.
- Extend enterprise capabilities to acquired companies, including operating model alignment and deployment strategies.
- Champion cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Collaborate with Development, Product, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption.
- Evaluate and streamline processes, handoffs, and workflows using automation and modern tooling.
- Provide thought leadership on cloud governance, architecture best practices, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Octopus Deploy, Salt, or Fabric.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, SDWAN, and routing.
- Experience designing High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions, including multi-region active/active setups.
- Proven ability to work with acquired companies and align them with enterprise cloud strategies.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services).
- Familiarity with Well-Architected Frameworks and multi-tenant architecture.
- Passion for learning and staying ahead of cloud trends.
