This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced attorneys in the legal industry.Responsibilities:As a Consulting Part Time Transportation Paralegal, your primary responsibilities will include:1. Preparing, revising, and formatting legal documents.2. Managing and organizing large volumes of documents and case-related materials.3. Preparing affidavits, legal correspondence, and other documents for attorneys.4. Organizing files and tracking case deadlines for legal proceedings.5. Conducting legal research and drafting legal memorandums.6. Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.7. Utilizing Case Management and Document Management Systems to maintain and track case documents and materials.8. Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Consulting Part Time Transportation Paralegal position will have the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in the field of transportation law.2. A paralegal certificate or equivalent experience is required.3. Experience working for a firm that handles transportation cases is strongly preferred.4. Proficient in preparing and organizing legal documents and correspondence.5. Proficient in using Case Management and Document Management Systems.6. Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook.7. Exceptional research skills and attention to detail.8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.9. A professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.10.
