Position Purpose
We are seeking professional, detail-oriented Event Decor Staff to support the setup and execution of corporate events. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a polished approach to ensure all decor aligns with corporate branding and high-quality standards.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and install decor on corporate events, including but not limited to intricate tablescapes with linens and centerpieces, floral designs, photo backdrops, branded signage, staging elements, pipe‑and‑drape, live activations, canopy tent decor, etc.
Execute decor setup according to detailed design mockups, layouts, and production schedules with some creative freedom as needed to make decor visually appealing.
Handle loading, transportation, and unloading of decor and equipment.
Conduct pre‑event checks to ensure all decor is properly aligned, secure, and visually consistent with mockups.
Troubleshoot and adjust setups quickly to meet last‑minute client or production changes.
Dismantle and pack decor efficiently post‑event, ensuring proper inventory handling.
Qualifications
Previous experience in corporate events, staging, set design, interior design, wedding planning, or other event production preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow strict design standards that match design mockups and notice inconsistencies, decor imperfections, lighting needs, etc.
Strong eye for design with the ability to transform a blank space or use various decor items to create full tablescapes and backdrops in tandem with a general design idea.
Professional demeanor and ability to work in client‑facing environments.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical setup tasks.
Excellent time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
