About This Job
This position performs Quality Improvement activities, including concurrent and retrospective chart review, observation of clinical and operational performance, and data collection and analysis, to assess performance. Responsibilities include medical record review, QI data analysis and reporting, conducting clinical audits and tracers, physician advisor interaction, and special projects which are coordinated and directed by the QI/UM Team Leader, Manager, or Director. May design and initiate special projects as supervised by department management.

What You Will Bring
Completion of an accredited Nursing (RN or LPN), Physician Assistant, or bachelor's degree in related healthcare, preferred.
Licensed in the State of Maryland as a Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), Licensed Practical Nurse LPN or licensure in a related healthcare position. Relevant experience in a health care setting, with experience in statistical analysis, preferred.
Requires 5 years equivalent full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse, M.D., P.A. Experience in at least 2 areas of clinical specialty is preferred. Prefer a minimum of 3 years of related experience in quality improvement or safety, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, identifying and solving problems, conducting educational programs with hospital staff, facilitating discussions with multidisciplinary teams to recommend solutions, etc.
