
Accounting Specialist

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. We are hiring an Accounting Specialist to perform truck inventory and sales functions, including invoicing, warranty administration, title work, and other accounting, office and clerical duties related to the branch operations.
Responsibilities
Create truck invoices for customers.
Complete title reassignment and related state forms.
Research and resolve title issues.
Prepare and post journal entries and special bills.
Maintain truck inventory, including purchasing, transfers, and inventory cost.
Compile data and maintain appropriate sales records and reports.
Prepare and review forms and other documentation related to sales tax and FET reporting.
Post truck invoices, which includes reviewing profitability analysis, vendor rebate accruals, commissions, etc.
Process payroll and maintain personnel records.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Knowledge of title work, vehicle/equipment transactions, and state vehicle registration strongly preferred.
Knowledge of general accounting principles and proficient computer skills.
Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
College degree preferred, but equivalent experience and success may be substituted for a degree.
