job in Brecksville, OH and Cleveland, OH, on behalf of our client, a growing manufacturer of aerospace products. This role involves the mechanical construction of molds and dies, applying standard mold-making techniques within close tolerances. Candidates must have five (5) or more years of experience in Tool and Die Making, with a Journeyman's Certification preferred. Must be able to read blueprints, set up machinery, Bridgeport/manual milling or CNC machining experience, grinding, etc. EDM experience preferred but not required.
We are recruiting for two locations: Cleveland and Brecksville, OH.
Position Details
Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd shift (3rd shift available at the Cleveland location only).
Pay Rate: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour plus 20% shift premium
Second Shift Premium: 20%
Work Location: Cleveland, OH or Brecksville, OH
Sign On Bonus: $10,000 paid in first paycheck; $15,000 for candidates that relocate to the area.
Benefits: Comprehensive benefit package starting on day one, including several insurance plans, 401(k) with 3% automatic deposit plus 6% company match, overtime bonuses and more
Overtime: Bonus of $250.00 when working over 55 hours in a given week. Double time on Sundays if you work that day.
Responsibilities
Interpret design blueprints to develop die/mold making plans
Lead the construction of multiple products simultaneously
Inspect own work using various instruments
Collaborate with Engineering and Programming throughout the manufacturing process
Operate multiple machines (e.g., Bridgeport, Grinders, Saws, EDM)
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in tool/mold making with close tolerance work or Journeyman's Tool and Die Maker Certification
Experience with molds is a PLUS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have personal tools and toolbox
Candidates with state-issued Journeyman's papers or 8+ years of job shop experience are preferred and may qualify for higher pay
Ability to work independently and within a team
Proficiency in basic math and trigonometry
In-depth knowledge of the tooling process
Must pass pre-employment background screenings
Legal Requirements: This position requires U.S. person status under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee). Visa sponsorship is not available.
