This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Operator I, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path) –
Assembler Operator I
– is primarily responsible for handling manual and operational tasks in production, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshot to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Specifics Include:
Handle manual or operational tasks as per guidelines to ensure smooth and efficient processes
Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis
Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives
Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control
Complete all required training and contribute to organizational compliance
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
High School Diploma or equivalent
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
Work hours: 2nd Shift – Monday – Thursday, 4:00pm – 2:30am
Location: Onsite
