Pay Rate: $22 - $25 per hour
Shift: 1st or 2nd shift
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on production machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Record maintenance activities, labor hours, and parts usage in maintenance management systems (e.g., eMaint or similar).
Fabricate or modify equipment and components as needed.
Maintain and organize maintenance areas, tools, spare parts, and supplies.
Follow all safety procedures, including strict adherence to lockout/tagout protocols.
Report damaged, worn, or defective parts and assist in inventory management.
Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
Support additional maintenance and facility tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or Production Mechanic in a manufacturing/industrial environment (or equivalent military/technical training).
Experience in high‑speed production or packaging environments preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Commercial electrical experience required (electrical knowledge preferred).
Experience with maintenance management software (e.g., eMaint or equivalent) preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid driver’s license required.
Comfortable operating forklifts and heavy machinery.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
