Senior Maintenance Technician

There are 2 positions available, 1 for first and 1 for 2nd shifts

First shifts: 5 am–1:30 pm and 7 am–3:30 pm

Second shifts: 1 pm–9:30 pm and 2 pm–10:30 pm

You’ll lead maintenance execution, troubleshoot complex utilities and equipment, and mentor teammates—while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering.

What You’ll Do
Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on cleanroom HVAC, BMS/EMS, process equipment (incubators, biosafety cabinets, centrifuges, freezers, pumps, single‑use systems), and critical utilities (clean steam, chilled water, gases, compressed air). Operate and troubleshoot boilers, steam generators, cooling towers/chillers, and water‑treatment systems. Support cleanroom integrity (HEPA, pressure differentials, temperature/Humidity), lead root‑cause analysis and CAPA, calibrate instruments, and contribute to equipment qualification (URS/IQ/OQ/PQ). Own documentation in CMMS with impeccable GDP, and champion EHS (LOTO, permits, OSHA/NFPA 70E).

What You’ll Bring

6–10+ years in GMP biopharma or cell‑therapy/ATMP maintenance, including cleanrooms and regulated utilities.

High‑school diploma, GED, associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Maintenance or equivalent military/apprenticeship training, or related field a plus.

HVAC expertise for controlled environments, clean steam/chilled water/process gases, electrical systems up to site‑authorized voltage, reading P&IDs/schematics/single‑line diagrams, basic PLC/HMI.

Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, deviations/CAPA, validation/qualification for utilities.

Experience with CMMS, BMS/EMS; comfortable with digital workflows and e‑logbooks.

Strong communication, teamwork, prioritization, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have: vibration/thermography basics, manufacturer training on chillers/controls, GxP/cleanroom coursework, safety certifications.

Work environment: cleanrooms and mechanical spaces; lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, wear PPE, and support an on‑call rotation.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $71,749.60 to $107,624.40. Positions offer eligibility for various incentives—including short‑term incentive bonuses, equity‑based awards for salaried roles, and commissions for sales roles.
