Description
Provide fast, friendly service, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines and assisting with jackpots/fills.
Qualifications
Minimum six months previous slot technician/repairs in a casino setting are preferred. Qualified applicants must be familiar with a variety of slot machines and their operations. Advanced electronic knowledge and ability to perform basic repairs and routine maintenance required. Must be professional and friendly and be able to get along with coworkers and work as a team. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. High School Diploma or equivalent required. This is a Gamed position; qualified applicant must be over the age of 21 and able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
Essential Job Functions
Knowledge of slot machine operations and repairs.
Must have advanced electronics knowledge.
Assists with machine moves and upgrades.
Completes all applicable paperwork accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with Company, state, and federal policies and regulations.
Always maintains a safe and clean working environment.
Verify that all machines and equipment are in working condition, reports maintenance issues to management.
Maintains confidentiality of all relevant information concerning guests and company assets.
Monitor Surveillance as needed.
Adheres to all departmental and Gaming standards.
Possess excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Familiar and proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office programs.
Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
Must possess excellent math skills; able to calculate money accurately.
Education / Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Language Ability
Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language.
Math Ability
High School level math. Adding, subtracting.
Knowledge / Skills
Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Ability to work successfully with the public and fellow employees.
Reasoning Ability
Knowledge of slot repair operations. Advanced electronic knowledge. Ability to multi-task. Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Inform the Manager on Duty of any and all suspicious activity immediately.
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of Oasis is a plus.
Certificates and Licenses
Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods; must be able to reach, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and lift occasionally; must be able to move about the casino and operational areas. Must have manual dexterity, ability to feel, use fingers, hands, operate tools.
