Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Bruck Perforating Press Operator to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot a high-speed perforating press in a metal fabrication environment. This is a hands‑on, non–entry‑level role requiring full machine ownership, precision setup, and strong troubleshooting ability.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, calibrate, and operate a Bruck perforating press
Perform complete machine setups, changeovers, and first‑piece validation
Adjust machine parameters (feed rates, stroke settings, controls)
Diagnose and correct quality and runability issues (alignment, burrs, tool wear, material distortion)
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances
Maintain production efficiency during both long runs and short custom orders
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor mechanical adjustments
Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of industrial press or machine operation experience
Proven ability to independently set up and troubleshoot equipment
Experience maintaining tight dimensional tolerances
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
