Overview
We are inviting professional musicians to perform in the Unbound Symphony Summer Festival, a 3‑day event held July 8‑10, 2026 at the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien, WA.
Responsibilities
Participate in all scheduled rehearsals, workshops, outreach events, and performances during the festival.
Qualifications
Professional or advanced orchestral experience.
Ability to prepare challenging repertoire within a limited rehearsal schedule.
Not a piano application – piano is not part of the festival repertoire.
Stipend and Benefits
Minimum stipend of $800 for the full 3‑day engagement.
Breakfast and lunch provided during festival days.
Travel and Lodging
Musicians are responsible for arranging their own travel and lodging.
Union Status
The festival engagement is non‑union. Applications are welcome from professional non‑union musicians.
Application Process
All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until seats are filled.
Selection will be conducted in a blind review of musical materials and responses.
