Job Summary
AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. The Marketing Intern will directly support the Marketing department at AEG Presents PromoWest in Columbus, Ohio, learning from teams that promote some of the most successful artists in music history. The intern will be exposed to how a marketing campaign is developed from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Support the Marketing Department with day-to-day operations

Complete tasks critical to the promotion of all PromoWest events

Update in-house promotional tools such as marquees and websites

Work with PromoWest events to set up, tear down, and distribute promotional materials

Conduct marketing research and create proposals

Track paid advertisements, listings, and features in print and online media

Create and implement marketing campaigns for assigned shows

Analyze competitors and complete reports

Shadow various departments for in-depth knowledge of the music industry

Qualifications

Passion for music and live entertainment

Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong communication and time‑management skills

Ability to multi‑task and work well under pressure

Experience with Microsoft Office, proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus

Desire to learn more about the entertainment industry

Pay Rate
$13 - $15 per hour

Bonus
This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
