Mechanical Technician B
Responsible for overseeing repair and preventive maintenance performed on plant manufacturing equipment as well as performing related administrative duties.
Qualifications
A High School Diploma or equivalent
Legal eligibility to work in the US
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance. Manufacturing environment preferred.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
Basic math skills and some mechanical abilities
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non‑standard work hours as necessary such as overtime and weekends.
Capable of effectively managing job‑related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
Job Responsibilities
Adhere to safety precautions and regulations, promptly reporting hazards, and participate in safety meetings.
Oversee all maintenance and repair work on a daily basis.
Plan daily maintenance activities to support manufacturing.
Perform all phases of equipment troubleshooting of equipment issues.
Test equipment as required to ensure proper working conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
