This is a skilled position involving the maintenance and operation of company conveyor and crushing equipment. Quarry experience is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Thorough mechanical knowledge of crushers and related equipment.
Analyze malfunctions and perform repairs and rebuilds on conveyors and crushing equipment.
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
Weld broken parts and structural members using stick welding processes.
Key Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have currently valid welding certifications.
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move from 10 to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
