
Corr Material Handler II

Position Summary
The Corr Material Handler II handles the material on the wet‑end of the corrugator machine. This includes prepping rolls of liner, placing rolls onto the splicer, and determining any adjustments needed to maintain board quality, as well as maintenance of area.
Responsibilities
Prepares rolls of liner for splicing, scanning rolls in, placing rolls onto lineup
Places rolls of liner and medium into the corrugator (with mechanical assistance)
Operates two roll stands at a time, when necessary
Determines machine adjustments and material requirements necessary for each job specification
Adjusts the single facer settings to maintain board quality
Maintains good housekeeping on single facers, roll stands, and areas surrounding them
Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
Regular and reliable attendance
Any other task or duty deemed necessary by management
Work Environment / Physical Demands
Fast‑paced environment, requiring adaptation to continuous changes in company, customer, and people needs
Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Ability to regularly lift up to 20 lbs. frequently; 20–35 lbs. occasionally; more than 35 lbs. rarely; over 50 lbs. requires team or mechanical assistance
Vision abilities required include close vision, durring vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
Occasional exposure to high, precarious places and extreme heat
Exposure to a very loud environment
