Overview
Egan Company is seeking candidates for a
Service Dispatch Coordinator
position located in Champlin, MN. The Service Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for taking incoming phone calls, responding to emails from customers, making outbound calls for scheduling appointments, and managing the daily schedule for Service Field Technicians.
The required hours for this position are 7am-4pm with occasional after-hours support.
Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls with enthusiasm.
Route calls to the appropriate business groups.
Gather detailed information from customers regarding service needs.
Make outbound phone calls to schedule and confirm Service Calls and Preventive Maintenance.
Reply to and send emails in a timely fashion.
Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, attention to detail, and a vigilant eye on how to grow the business. Promote Egan's services.
Manage open service calls for a team of technicians to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner.
Maintain technician schedules using current scheduling software.
Utilize software platforms to track and record the progress of service calls for the team.
Review call summary reports and distribute based on follow up needed.
Work closely with Technicians, Account Managers, Inside Sales and Labor Managers on day-to-day bases.
Maintain relationships with subcontractors and internal business groups.
Back up other team members when they are out of the office.
Verify customer information within our ERP system for accuracy.
Ability to take the On-Call Phone on a rotating schedule.
Assist in the completion of special projects and other duties as requested.
Maintain professionalism, positive working relations, and open communications with Egan employees and customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Desire to learn and continually improve.
Some industry experience is preferred, but not required, such as low voltage, electrical, HVAC or plumbing.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and customers.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient typing and computer skills.
Team player mindset - willing to assist others as needed.
Qualifications
Desire to learn and continually improve.
Some construction industry experience is preferred, but not required, such as limited energy, electrical, HVAC or plumbing.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and customers.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt quickly/be flexible in an ever changing environment.
Ability to proactively problem solve.
