
Warehouse Associate

Role Purpose
Thermacell is currently seeking to grow our shipping & manufacturing business and is looking for a highly motivated Warehouse Associate. Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of warehouse & manufacturing duties such as prepping shipments, scheduling shipments, performing cycle counts, assembling packaging & operating manufacturing equipment. This role will report to the Warehouse Management Team.
Working Hours: 7 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (extended hours during busy season and occasional Saturdays).
Work Location: 3157 Buford Highway, Buford, GA 30518.
Responsibilities
Creates / generates shipping labels & UCC for small parcel outbounds
Preps orders/outbounds: Applies UCC labels & other labels to staged outbounds & wraps completed pallets
Schedules inbounds & creates pallet placards
QC’s staged orders
Completes cycle counts
Picks customer orders
Assists with BOL generation
Verifies returns
Reports out monthly cycle count information / results
Adheres to picking & shipping performance indicators
Utilizes RF gun/scanning systems and interact with tracking systems
Loads and unloads trucks and drives forklift as needed (Thermacell to certify employee)
Works on display & special projects
Operates machine lines when needed
Adheres to all manufacturing standard operating procedures
Ensure adherence to manufacturing key performance indicators
Meets company productivity and quality standards
Maintains clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Adherence to established safety policies and procedures
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
HS Diploma/GED
Mechanical Skills including mechanical comprehension, mechanical knowledge, and basic electronics
Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
Experience operating packaging equipment
Self‑starter and fast‑learner, ability to be proactive/plan accordingly
Ability to manage and deliver multiple simultaneous priorities
Strong collaboration skills
Proficient in base Microsoft programs: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. (Preferred/Not required)
Impeccable attention to detail
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to stand/walk for 8 to 12 hours
Ability to read and comprehend production order requirements
Basic math skills
Must be able to work over‑time as needed. Overtime may be prior to and/or after scheduled work hours (including weekends)
Driver's License required
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full‑time basis
Not eligible for work authorization sponsorship by the company
