Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Data Entry Clerk for a position with a client located in Findlay, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for high-volume data entry and QA/QC of commercial transactions within internal systems. Manage and process Bills of Lading (BOL), investigate and resolve data discrepancies, and ensure accuracy of records.
Pay Range: $18/hr - $20/hr. (The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Shift: Monday - Friday (7 AM - 4 PM OR 8 AM - 5 PM EST) flexible with start time
Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Role: Data Entry Clerk / Commercial Processor
Role Overview
Responsible for high-volume data entry and quality assurance of commercial transaction data
Supports daily operations by coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers
Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of critical documentation
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate data entry into internal databases and systems
Generate and process Bills of Lading (BOL)
Review, validate, and QA/QC transactional data
Follow up on missing, incomplete, or incorrect information
Communicate with third-party suppliers via email and phone
Coordinate with traders, analysts, and internal stakeholders
Maintain and update ledgers for assigned facilities (nodes)
Manage workflows through shared drives and SharePoint
Escalate system or data issues to IT/analyst teams when required
Requirements
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Basic knowledge of web-based portals and systems
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Preferred Qualifications
Administrative or financial experience
Background in Accounting, Finance, or Business (degree preferred but not required)
Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Performance Metrics
Data accuracy and quality
Productivity and turnaround time
Effectiveness in issue resolution and coordination
