Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist at Arandas Franchises in Houston, TX. The primary responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, processing payroll, and managing journal entries. The role will also involve working with accounting software to handle bookkeeping tasks accurately, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial processes.

Qualifications

Strong Bookkeeping and Journal Entries (Accounting) skills

Proficiency in working with Accounting Software and financial systems (QuickBooks)

Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Finance-related tasks

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and effectively in an on-site environment

Knowledge of payroll processing is highly preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus

Prior experience in the restaurant or franchise industry is an advantage
