Warehouse Worker – Bremerton, WA
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join the Navy Exchange in Bremerton. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and stocking merchandise in the warehouse backroom.
Responsibilities
Receive and unload incoming merchandise deliveries.
Pull merchandise according to established procedures for shipment, transfers, or customer orders.
Operate motor vehicle and forklift in daily duties.
Qualifications
Valid state driver’s license or valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Knowledge and skills to operate a motor vehicle safely.
Pass appropriate background checks, including any required security clearance.
Pass GSA defensive driving course.
General Experience
One year of experience performing warehousing related duties such as receiving, storing, issuing, shipping, operation of manual material movement equipment.
Education and Experience Requirements
One year of high school education may be substituted for 3 months of general experience up to a High School Diploma or GED.
Specialized Experience
One year of warehousing experience, including documentation of material receiving and transfer, and ability to operate a forklift.
Physical Requirements
Work on hard surfaces, require standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Able to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance and carry short distances; heavier material will be transported by forklift.
Training Requirements
Hazardous Material HazMat training within 90 days of hire, per Department of Transportation regulations.
