
Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $90,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and record journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activity for multiple entities or locations.
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and investigate differences to ensure accurate balances.
Reconcile balance sheet and intercompany accounts and maintain supporting schedules.
Support close activities by completing reconciliations, maintaining close workbooks, and assisting with financial statement support.
Assist with receivables and payables processes, including reporting, data entry, commission payments, and vendor documentation.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in an accounting or related finance role.
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, with consideration for more senior level based on experience.
Solid understanding of accounting standards and general ledger practices.
Prior experience participating in month end close and account reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with accounting systems used for general ledger and transaction processing.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
Previous experience working with multi entity or multi location accounting environments.
Ability to analyze variances and support management reporting needs.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and comfort working across different accounting platforms.
Organized and dependable work style with willingness to support audits and special projects as needed.
