Finance Manager
The Finance Manager provides financial and analytical support for the Signode Bridgeview and Muller manufacturing plants. This role is responsible for monthly financial reporting, performance analysis, and budgeting and forecasting support, focusing on key drivers such as sales, gross margin, overhead spending, scrap, inventory, capital, and working capital. The Finance Manager partners closely with Operations, Commercial, and Functional leaders to deliver insights that support effective decision‑making and operational performance. This role serves as the overall financial leader of a business unit and plays a critical role in ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement. The position requires a regular on‑site presence and will be based out of the Bridgeview plant with additional travels to our Georgia and Texas based plants.

Salary
The annual salary for this position ranges from $105,000 - $135,000 plus a 10% bonus target and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
Summary
The Finance Manager provides financial and analytical support for the Signode Bridgeview and Muller manufacturing plants. This role is responsible for monthly financial reporting, performance analysis, and budgeting and forecasting support, focusing on key drivers such as sales, gross margin, overhead spending, scrap, inventory, capital, and working capital.
Essential Functions
Support the timely execution of the monthly financial close process in accordance with US GAAP and internal Signode policies and procedures.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data and reporting.
Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) for these plants.
Consolidate, validate, and analyze inputs from operations and commercial partners.
Support the preparation of financial data and analysis for leadership reviews.
Provide ongoing financial analysis and decision support for the Bridgeview and Muller plants, including:
Sales, volume, mix, and margin analysis
Profitability by product line and customer
Manufacturing performance, overhead spending, and cost control
Inventory, working capital, and scrap analysis
Standard costing and margin performance
Support for pricing and cost initiatives
Conduct ad hoc analysis as requested to support operational and commercial decisions.
Support capital project analysis, including tracking spend, financial impact, and post‑investment results.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency across reporting, forecasting, and analysis activities.
Collaborate with other finance team members and controllers to share best practices and improve productivity.
Build strong working relationships with Operations, Commercial, and Functional teams.
Communicate financial results and insights clearly to non‑finance partners.
Foster a collaborative, team‑oriented environment focused on operational excellence.
Travel up to approximately 20% to support business activities, including operational reviews, planning sessions, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance/Accounting preferred.
5-8 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or operations‑focused environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated interest in understanding plant operations and cost drivers.
Ability to analyze and summarize large volumes of data from multiple sources.
Working knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes‑Oxley) compliance and internal controls preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across functions and levels.
Experience with financial and ERP systems preferred (e.g., OneStream, AX).
