Northrop Grumman Aerospace System (NGAS) is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) in Oklahoma City, OK or Palmdale, CA to support the Cost Management organization. This position is on‑site with a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.

Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts across multiple contracts within an Integrated Product Team (IPT).

Support development of budget baselines, maintain cost/schedule integration, and prepare budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC.

Perform financial performance analyses and visibility reporting; assist in the preparation and submission of monthly CDRLs such as IPMR.

Support variance analysis reports and facilitate program monthly rhythm process, incorporating baseline changes into the EVM system.

Earned Value Management (EVM) Tasks

Establish work breakdown structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled.

Assess and maintain objective performance criteria and justify estimates to complete.

Support internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis and budget baseline.

Conduct cost risk analysis/assessment and produce visibility reports.

Prepare government cost performance reports and review performance measurement variance analysis.

Basic Qualifications (Level 3)

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields OR Master’s degree with 3 years experience in the same.

Ability to work on site in a hybrid schedule in Oklahoma City, OK or Palmdale, CA.

Experience in government contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).

Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Ability to obtain US Government Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Active final adjudicated US Government Secret Clearance with the ability to transfer and maintain Secret Clearance and program access.

Understanding of business systems (SAP/Cobra).

Experience in government contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).

Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Salary ranges are based on location and align with company geographic salary bands. Primary level salary range: $77,000.00 – $141,200.00. Salary offers are determined by role scope, candidate’s experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply in addition to base pay. Employees may be eligible for a long-term incentive program.
