Position: Diesel Mechanic
Location: Odessa, TX
We are seeking a motivated, self‑starter diesel mechanic to maintain and repair tractors and tanker trailers, support plant operations, and uphold our zero‑injury safety goals.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on tractors and tanker trailers.
Document and record repair work electronically.
Perform road repairs when necessary.
Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical, air brake components and systems.
Perform electrical and electronic diagnosis repairs on tractors and trailers.
Assist plant operations as needed.
Participate in company safety, training, environmental and improvement programs.
Perform cryogenic maintenance, including repair/replacement of valves and pumps.
Calibrate pump discharge meters.
Load, wash, and maintain trailers, conduct housekeeping.
Handle inventory for spare tires, parts, and manage fleet fuels and lubricants.
Execute delivery operation environmental and safety tasks.
Assist with plant operations maintenance and learn state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Class A CDL preferred (not required).
Strong mechanical background with above‑average computer skills.
Energetic, highly motivated, self‑starter with strong commitment to safety.
Team player with ability to work well with mechanics, drivers, and operations personnel.
Solid work history.
Ability to drive a tractor.
Welding knowledge and experience.
Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12‑volt DC circuits.
Diesel engine troubleshooting and minor repair experience.
Safety‑sensitive position.

Monday‑through‑Friday day shift, occasional on‑call.
