Position:
Heavy Equipment Service Technician (Shop-Based)
Location:
Novi, Michigan
Compensation:
$22-45 per hour based on experience and certifications
Overtime:
Available and paid at time plus

What You’ll Do:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of equipment:
Dirt movers
Lifts
Paving and milling machines
Environmental equipment
Conduct functionality and safety tests
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain issues
Utilize laptops and tablets to run diagnostics
Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
Follow all OSHA and EPA safety standards
Stay current on training and manufacturer certifications
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Minimum 3 years in shop or field service repair
Technical Skills:
Strong 12/24 volt electrical and hydraulic knowledge
Proficiency with diagnostics tools and software
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and crawl without restrictions
Other Requirements:
High school diploma or trade school certification
Valid driver's license
Able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Able to pass a background check and drug screen (includes testing for medical marijuana)
