Senior Accountant
Compensation:
$80,000-$110,000
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Location:
Hybrid | 3 days onsite / 2 days remote LIC
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely journal entries
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
Support month‑end close and help keep reporting on schedule
Perform variance analysis across the income statement and balance sheet
Assist with forecasting and management reporting
Manage fixed asset accounting, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation
Support external audits, audit schedules, and tax‑related filings
Partner with internal teams to improve accounting workflows and reporting processes
Help support and maintain NetSuite and related accounting tools/integrations
Mentor and assist other accounting team members as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Economics required
3+ years of accounting experience in private industry and/or Big Four
Private industry experience required
NetSuite experience required
Audit or assurance experience preferred
CPA is a plus
Strong understanding of GAAP and key accounting standards, including ASC 606 and ASC 842
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional presence and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
