Job Overview
The position will perform a variety of manual tasks involving physical labor and operation of a company vehicle on highway construction projects to ensure safe and efficient traffic control operations.
Responsibilities
Operate a company vehicle pulling a trailer with traffic control devices.
Adhere to TMUTCD rules and guidelines regarding setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic control devices and signage according to the approved Traffic Control Plan for the project.
Read Traffic Control Plans.
Possibly supervise other traffic control laborers and their duties.
Qualifications
Current Texas Traffic Control Supervisor Certification.
Willingness to travel.
Safety‑sensitive position; must be safety conscious.
