Signal Integrity Engineer
Location: Nashua, NH
Wage: Depends on Experience
Responsibilities
Design, simulation, characterization, and application of high speed electrical connectors and cable-based interconnects
Component development as well as customer support on new product introduction
Contribute to an established team of dedicated signal integrity engineers and engineers of other disciplines
Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows
Collaborate multi-disciplinary teams in the development of next generation high speed I/O interconnect products
Assist with providing solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors with their high speed data transmission requirements
Support the internal Sales Engineers to develop strategies for product break-in at existing and new accounts based on signal integrity and electrical engineering expertise
Identify and resolve signal Integrity issues in PCB layout
Design, build, and measure circuit boards for measurement and verification of products
Apply circuit theory and high-speed digital transmission, PCB layout principles for high-speed digital design
Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering, MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred
3 years of industry experience with an understanding of electro-magnetic principles for digital signal integrity
Experience in component design and application of high-speed connectors into communications equipment is a plus
Experience with signal integrity measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators, error detectors and similar measurement equipment
Experience with signal integrity and simulation/analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave, HSPICE, MatLab, and ADS
Hands‑on experience with frequency-domain and time-domain component and circuit characterization including understanding of test and calibration methods
