About the Role
Galileo is looking for a culturally sensitive and thoughtful therapist to join us part-time as part of our digital-first, primary-care medical group. You will leverage data, technology, and operational rigor in this role to deliver therapy to a diverse patient population.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Provide integrated behavioral health care among a team of primary and specialty care providers with attention to clinical quality and patient-centricity

Maintain a caseload of patients in which you’ll conduct 30 to 45 minute therapy sessions for Galileo patients residing in a state of licensure with set blocks of time to support Galileo patients each week

We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience:

5+ years experience with providing teletherapy (text-based, video, phone) and integrating technology and data into practice/care provision

Trained with evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT)

Comfortable with providing safety planning and intervention during situations where a client might present with higher risks

Licensed and credentialed to support patients with clinical concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma

Active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and/or Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)

Active license in OR, CA, TX, TN, MA and/or the PsyPact (if Clinical Psychologist) is required

It’s a bonus if you are professionally fluent in Spanish including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the cultural nuances for native Spanish speakers in a medical setting

Compensation:
Hourly rate equivalent to up to $110,000 annually, with compensation prorated to your part-time schedule. Dependent on licensure, we may be able to offer up a schedule of up to 24 hours/week.
