Overview
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week assignment beginning 05/04/2026 in Dahlonega, Georgia.
Responsibilities
Provide PT assistance to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or conditions in an outpatient setting, under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Duties include patient assessment, treatment administration, documentation, and helping patients move better, feel better, and stay active.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Georgia PTA license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
Experience meeting productivity expectations (approximately 60 visits per week; 12–14 patients per day and double‑booking follow‑up visits).
Ability to float to other clinic locations as needed.
Travel team option available; willingness to work as part of a travel team preferred.
Must be able to work up to 36–40 hours per week; overtime must be approved by the clinic director.
