American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures for a 13‑week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.
Details
Work in a cardiac cath lab at an acute care community hospital serving an adult patient population
Specialty focus in interventional cardiology, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
Procedures covered include cardiac catheterization, stress testing, TEE, and tilt testing
Preferred experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
Uses GE equipment and Cerner EHR
Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend on‑call
Call requirements exceed 12 days per contract period
Occasional float to IR (interventional radiology)
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
RRT or RCIS certification required; RN license required if applicable
AHA certifications required
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures required
Cerner EHR experience preferred
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
Orientation is conducted bi‑weekly
Hospital scrubs provided
Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates who are employed full‑time elsewhere are not eligible
