Shift Hours
Monday through Thursday: 7:00‑2:00, 11:00‑5:30, 7:00‑5:30
Fridays: 7:00‑2:00
Saturdays: 7:30‑1:30

Responsibilities
Perform pedo prophylactics
Chairside assist doctors
Float assisting
Assemble instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area, positioning instruments for the dentist’s access, suctioning, and passing instruments
Educate patients by giving oral hygiene instructions
Contribute to team effort by helping where needed
Welcome the patient and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during their appointment
Assure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off instruments, and ensuring chair‑side accessibility to the team
Answer any questions the patient may have about dental hygiene, schedule appointments for patient care follow‑up, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patient’s teeth and gums after procedures
Evaluate and document vital signs for patients and update medical records
Qualifications
Dental assistance or schooling is given preference
Experience with children
Strong interpersonal skills; customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are essential
Compensation
$21 - $33 hourly
