Responsibilities

Examines patients with breathing related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing.
Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient.
Performs physiotherapy and other treatments.
Teaches patients to use medication.
What we\'re looking for / Qualifications

Applicants should be Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the VA Board of Health Professions and in good standing with the board.
Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.
ACLS and PALS are required within 90 days of hire.
1 year of hospital-based experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
NRP within 6 months of hire.
