How You'll Make An Impact
Your Role
Dedicated to CT Surgery, in collaboration with the surgical team (and others), participates in surgical patients’ perioperative assessments.
Assists surgeons (under direction/supervision of the same) during surgical or invasive operative procedures.
Participates in postoperative rounds and treatments; evaluates patients’ progress toward obtaining desired outcomes.
Assess patients’ and/or family members’ knowledge level; provides appropriate education to same.
Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

RN [Registered Nurse]/Nurse Manager (JC: 031001)
Supervises
None.
What You’ll Need To Apply
Required Education
Associate degree in nursing.
Successful completion of a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) program accredited by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN).
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Required Experience
Two (2) years of perioperative registered nursing experience.
Preferred Experience
Two (2) years of perioperative first assistance experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry
Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (F.S.), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certified instructor.
Preferred Certification/License/Registry
One or more of the following:
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential from AORN.
Registered Nurse Assistant at Surgery (RNAS‑C) credential from the National Assistant at Surgery Certification (NASC).
Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) credential from NASC.
