Overview

The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time General Gyn/Ob Physician for a faculty position. This is an opportunity to join a successful and established team in a department with a strong commitment to general gynecology and obstetrics. The division supports a full-scope clinical program within a collegial academic environment. Faculty are involved in patient care, medical education, and biomedical research.
The department offers mentorship programs for early career faculty and opportunities to develop clinical niches, including cervical dysplasia, adolescent contraception, perinatal mental health, specialty postpartum care, and early pregnancy loss. There are research opportunities and ongoing research programs for Academic Specialists in general gyn/ob.
Responsibilities

Provide the full spectrum of general gynecology and obstetrics care, including inpatient and ambulatory services, gynecologic surgery, and coverage of a busy labor and delivery unit.
Participate in the educational programs of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and support the education of residents and medical students.
Engage in clinical program development and collaborate with division members on clinical niches and research opportunities.
Qualifications

Academic Generalist in Gynecology/Obstetrics with strong clinical skills and a commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research.
Board certified (or board eligible with Active Candidate status) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Tenure-track position; rank commensurate with qualifications and achievements.
