
CNC Operator

Setup and operate multiple CNC machine tools in a low volume, high mix, job shop environment. Take responsibility for all phases of the process from the first cut to the last completed piece. Execute work in accordance with all safety regulations and maintain high-quality standards aligned with ISO/TS, IRIS, AAR, and CMMI requirements.
What do we offer?
Hourly rate between $22.00 and $26.00 per hour.

What do we want to know about you?
Must be able to work the weekend shift: Friday – Sunday, 5:00 am – 5:00 pm (paid for 40 hrs).
Preferably an associate degree in Machine Tool Technology (MTT), high school diploma, GED, or evidence of relevant work experience.
Minimum five years of CNC experience.
Knowledge of basic shop math: trigonometry, Pythagorean theorem, etc.
Ability to interpret and edit CNC programming.
Knowledge of GD&T and understanding of identifiers, inspection methods, etc.
Basic rigging principles, crane operation, crane and hoist inspection, and safe practices.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Plan and execute highly complex work to precision tolerances, allowances, and finishes.
Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, tool prints, and sketches.
Work independently without supervision.
What will your typical day look like?
Perform setup of machine tool within standard route time.
Operate multiple machine tools simultaneously.
Achieve desired productivity based on product cycle time ">90%.
Navigate FANUC controls with knowledge of wear and geometry pages to ensure product conformance.
Critical thinking and troubleshooting to quickly resolve problems and return machine tool to production.
Use Renishaw Probing system and perform simple functions (Easy Setting).
Setup and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
Inspect product to engineering blueprints using various gauging.
Complete and sign off FAI (First Article Inspection).
Enter SPC data and adjust the process based on data analysis.
Perform TPM inspection on equipment as scheduled and complete the associated checklist.
Maintain 5S requirements in the designated work cell, performing daily 5S activities.
Support and contribute to continuous improvement – SMED, Kaizen, fixture design, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
