Welder
to work at our branch.
Responsibilities
Prepare, cut pipe sections using a table or jig saw and set up lay‑up sections
Weld pipe using MIG/ARC welding equipment and techniques
Complete projects using manufacturing work orders and/or verbal instructions
Locate materials to complete projects
Cut pipe with pipe cutting equipment
Lay out pipe sections on a jig or table and weld with MIG/ARC equipment, applying cold galvanizing solution to protect welds
Perform visual inspection on completed work to ensure quality
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform other warehouse and gate fabrication duties as required
Qualifications
2‑3 years welding experience with MIG and ARC
Experience working with hand tools
Ability to lift/move heavy materials up to 75 pounds
Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
Ability to perform layouts using jigs
Ability to work around heat and chemicals
Must be able to work overtime as needed
